Here are the September Intercessions. Please share with your leadership and parishioners.

A Prayer for September – by Nina Smit

Lord Jesus,

we learn so much about spreading Your good news throughout the world.

I know that it is You who sends me, that You will be with me

and will equip me, and that You will teach me what to say

so that I can be a light for the nations.

Forgive me for sometimes being embarrassed to speak about You,

and please bring about the right opportunities for me

so that other people will be able to hear about Your love.

Forgive me for sometimes feeling discouraged

when there is no fruit from my witnessing –

make me prepared to persevere as Your witness

until the hearts and lives of people open up to You.

It is impossible for me to remain silent about your love for me!

I truly want to use the opportunity

to present Your message of salvation to others.

I also want to live in such a way that my faith will be clearly visible

through my actions so that all those that look at me

will know that I belong to You.

Thank You for the privilege of being able to share my faith

with my children and for the joy of knowing

that they too can love and serve You.

I praise You for Your Holy Spirit who makes it possible for me

to be an enthusiastic witness and for the power

that He makes available to me, enabling me to proclaim Your good news. Amen.
